So today is it, the 10th anniversary of Kingdom hearts coming out in Japan. I look back on that and just think “Wow, where would I be if not for this game?” I fell away from gaming for a few years but my love for Kingdom hearts never faded, from the first time I saw it when I was a child I was entranced. After I saw my cousin playing the game I pestered my mom for a PS2 and the game until I got it for wither Christmas or my birthday. I find it highly amusing that every system that Kingdom Hearts has been release don, I’ve bought it primarily for Kingdom Hearts, save for the Gameboy, I got that for pokemon. Of course I got my PS2 for Kingdom Hearts and re-bought a new one for my complete playthrough months ago, I needed a PSP for Birth by Sleep, I bought another DS so I could replay 358/2 Days and Re:Coded, and of course I am currently using the money I’m making from Google ads to get a 3DS for Dream Drop Distance. It is because of Kingdom Hearts that I was introduced to Final Fantasy, and because of Kingdom Hearts I started RPing and was introduced to KHTumblr, through which I’ve met some of the most wonderful people. Eventually I felt compelled to write a piece on Roxas’ line during Xion’s death, and my dissatisfaction with the notes that piece got on my personal blog led to me creating this blog, through which I’ve gained so much.
I love all of you guys and it is Kingdom Hearts that brings us all together. It’s been 10 great years and I know the best is yet to come. As we will see tomorrow. To Kingdom Hearts, thanks for 10 great years and many more to come, to my followers, thanks for thinking highly enough of me to listen to what I have to say, it means so much.
Although I’d like to think that I’ve “grown up” from KH, so much of the first two games are extremely memorable to me. It’s been a good ten years. Maybe I’ll go through and play 1 and 2 again, for the millionth time…

Haha, of course I’ve felt like most of the ones you can achieve are things that you’ll do anyways just by playing the game. Personally, I’ve never really cared much about achievements, but I have at least half of them on Fallout and Call of Duty, just by playing the story. Some games have very difficult achievements, but I think all games should have achievements that are near impossible to get. Also, I think achievements should have more rewards than simply a string of text saying, “You achieved this” or whatever, for the people like me who don’t care much for the satisfaction of 100%.
